The proposed MOP passed with 331 faculty members voting yes and 36 voting no.
The Manual of Procedure (MOP) defines and makes clear the structure and operating procedures of the college, as well as the responsibilities of leadership and governance bodies of CLAS. Ratification of the referendum requires a three-fifths majority of faculty who vote. The referendum will now be sent to the University of Iowa provost and president for final approval.
